hello Veritas families I am so excited to officially welcome you to the new year we cannot wait to see your faces on campus or online and engage you in another year of learning welcome to all of our returning student and I would like to give a special welcome to all of our new students families joining the school this year from the moment we closed out last year we have spent countless hours in preparation for opening this week for on-campus learning and our distance learning option excited for our students to return to classes and see them making academic strides that we know they are capable of Under Armour Stellar faculty and staff this year is no different than others in one respect our FAQ stop or deeply committed to laying a foundation of faith in academics and US pressing ahead forward even in such a challenging time while this year will have its challenges as a Christian Community of learners we will meet what is ahead of us with prayer resolve and a deep sense of trust in each other and is always our decisions will be guided by our mission and values as we begin the school year I would just like to express our gratitude for your cooperation and support through the last few months of our school year and as we begin this one your flexibility understanding and occurred helps create the right formula for our students to protect our faculty or staff our students and our families we will need your help let's follow every protocol let's do so with positivity and Goodwill and work together as a community to give our students the education that they deserve in a safe environment this is an opportunity for us to act out our faith and share the love as we have communicate would you throughout the summer we've made substantial investment to the campus to prepare for our students and faculty and staff to return we've expended outside areas we are putting final touches on Foundation Hall so that we have the space. Google reviews we have relocated classrooms to create 6ft distancing as well as capping student enrollment by grade we have enhanced campus protocols and safety measures Creighton space ready for a community of learners to return our success in creating a safe environment for our whole school would depend on our commitment to those values that have always undergirded our community selflessness caring about our neighbor and good leadership by everyone who count themselves as part of veritas man in the midst of our planning we know we all need to remain flexible and supportive the coming weeks and months May prevent moments where need to Pivot to a contingency plan whether as an entire School a Class A small group or individual family and those inevitable circumstances we will press ahead making the best decisions we can for our community and seeking first to support our students with safety as our priority in any circumstance we are confident that we will move onward with our mission of laying the foundation for life in our students we've been busy preparing the campus for Early Education and lower school students are Early Education and lower School faculty have worked to create an engaging experience for each of our students we're ready to engage the and their academic life again and restart learning in the new year I cannot wait to see all of you guys and give you a great big bear hug and then to give a high-five way to our descent Fleur see you soon as you begin the new school year I'm excited to think about seeing our students back on campus to hear the laughter The Joy the excitement that is an eighth and all of your children this school year will look like in comparison to those previously but it gives us an opportunity to be able to glorify God in the unknown circumstances of Our Lives scripture tells us that God will never leave us nor forsake us in that if God is for us who can be it was a community I would encourage each one of us to stay diligent in our walk with Christ to continue to pray for our community and our school Daly and to do all things in love and ultimately to step faith and a god-given with them to have a successful 2020-2021 Academic Year it's going to be such a joy to see our students come to campus and interact with their teachers they're free and and making new friends we've got a lot of new families who are here at veritas this year so we just want to say welcome we're excited that you're here so guys get ready for school we are ready for you but can't wait to see you and Riza love you hello Barrett us families and students were so excited to have you back we've been preparing and getting ready for an amazing school year will be working hard and ready with all different safety protocols on campus and for online students we can wait to interact with you we have been working getting everything in place for you all to have an amazing experience experience here at Veritas see you soon on behalf of our faculty and staff Board of Trustees and all Veritas employees we look forward to welcoming you back to class this week
