Ways to Give
The Veritas Fund is administered by the National Christian Foundation (NCF), a non-profit organization that helps donors give more wisely and tax-efficiently. NCF accepts non-cash gifts (for example stocks, real estate, and business interests) and is the nation’s largest provider of donor-advised funds. Donor-advised funds allow donors to time their giving more systematically and then respond to the school’s campaigns from the Fund. Donations play an invaluable role in providing opportunities for our students because tuition alone does not cover all costs of operations.
The following are ways to give to The Veritas Fund.
Stocks and Mutual Funds
You can give to Veritas from your personal portfolio of assets. To ensure that your gift is efficiently processed, please initiate the gift with your brokerage advisor, then fax a copy of the completed Letter of Authorization to the National Christian Foundation of Houston at (832) 255-2021.
Cash or Physical Check
You can always give the old-fashioned way! Just drop by our campus and drop off your gift. Simply visit our Contact Us page for the school address and to get directions.
Credit Card or Bank Account Transfer
You can give through a one-time or recurring credit card or bank account transfer. It’s easy and hassle-free. Follow the link to the secured National Christian Foundation website by clicking on the NCF logo above to set up your donation. Make a Donation Now!
You can give other non-cash assets, such as business interest, that could increase your tax deductions and cash flow while helping to support Veritas.
Many companies match charitable donations. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer's name below.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Veritas Christian Academy may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
Veritas Christian Academy of Houston is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Speak to your tax professional for more details on deductions and charitable giving.
