approximately 8% of the school's operating budget is not covered by tuition all the trustees could raise tuition over $800 per student to cover this instead purposely chosen to keep dish in low some of you this is your first year but many of you have been here this school and a family at the school for many many years and you know what an impact of teachers and faculty have on our students the one of the challenges I think many families have his you know when deciding on a school private or public or even among private schools and what what can we afford then we notice. Veritas they're offering everything we were looking for at a price that's less and some of these other schools that frankly can't hold a candle to them that can't happen without parental support financial support and being willing to give so the school if you can make it affordable for more families part of our strategy here is to make Veritas accessible tuition wise and we do that by making sure we can provide financial assistance to families who may need it so that a quality Christian education is Within Reach award is given us time treasures and talents and he's giving us the freedom to choose where we desire to invest those too often we do not stand long enough or sit long enough you really think why am I giving what is my why it is a place where children and even teachers are helping sharpen each other the longer we can solve our children are you going to get a light in this world the better and so why wouldn't you kind of pleasure talent to baratok it is making an eternal impact so I encourage you to give to participate to continue to enhance our kids education as soon as they can get an even more experience is also to create an opportunity for other families that need a little more financial support our community is an extremely generous Community every year our annual fund participation rate is very very close to a hundred percent sure that's what we're aiming for let's go all-in for Veritas to support the missions for our teachers to enhance educational experience join us in these efforts so so thankful for your generosity and your participation please consider giving to Veritas in the annual fund help us continue this tradition of laying a foundation for luck
