good morning and thank you all for coming to this year's boards Chapel even though we cannot be together in person it is still important to gather with each other and celebrate the accomplishments of each every student here congratulations to the 8th grade class and also to the entire school for completing this year though it might not have ended like we had envisioned it the important thing is that every student person three challenges and continue to grow learn and flourish through distance learning I'm so thankful to be able to join together today to celebrate the accomplishments of veritas students and all areas academics Athletics the Arts and also in their walk with the Lord Veritas is such a special school because it has a variety of activities and competitions throughout the year that allows dude to try new things and develop their abilities through events like speech meet math Olympics spelling bee bands art choir and drama students have so many opportunities to pursue God given talents and to learn new skills Veritas also provide students with a chance to connect with one another and with God some of the most impactful times during my years at Veritas event advisory during both those times I got to worship and serve God or talk with the small group about relationships or issues we might face in high school I remember sitting in a small circle one play after Chapel with the girls for my class we shared harmeet was going what we learned in Chapel or whatever was on our hearts I remember feeling joy and peace in the presence of God because it was like the doubt the fears in the worries glad when we join together to pray and see carry one another's burdens I also remember the first day I came to Veritas everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really felt like home sometimes it's hard or scary to come to a new school but the moment I walked into Veritas those fears were scattered with the Light of Christ love through seats friends and teachers who serve the Lord Veritas became a place for me where I was challenged to work hard where I learn new things and where I always knew that my friends and teachers would be there for me Veritas is such a unique school because the parents students and teachers are all bound together as Brothers and Sisters in Christ and that makes all the difference I want to thank our teachers and staff for their hard work this year they have such important jobs in each of them spend so much time pouring into our lives there are men and women of God who have taught us not only about the subjects that they teach also how to walk by faith and serve other people his so rare to be able to develop meaningful lasting relationships with great men and women like our teachers and I just want to thank them for all that they do I also want to thank all the family and parents at Veritas for supporting us and allowing us to attend this great School finally I went to encourage younger students who will be continued here at their top next year so many amazing opportunities to grow in your face to challenge yourself academically and build lasting relationships in a christ-centered environment take advantage of that so you will have a strong Foundation when you graduate keep working hard encouraging and loving one another and serving other people whether it's making sandwiches or blankets and advisory playing with your Chapel buddy or studying for a test let your one goal and focus to BB2 Shine for Christ in a dark world like a lighthouse missed the story see be a Beacon of Hope in your community and always remember that wherever you go and whatever you do the Lord is always with you Isaiah 41:10 says do not fear for I am with you do not be dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my just right hand but this inline go out into the world and Shine for the Lord with boldness knowing that you are never alone thank you
