New Head of School, David Hao's first impressions of Veritas

everyone is so great to see you all I am so delighted so honored to be appointed and called to be their next head of school at Veritas thank you so much to the star remembers our family's faculty and staff and just other community members report so much time into this with you I'll just what I love about this place and it's the same things that you first and foremost station of this place is centered on Christ and that that's what it is we're trying to instill in our kids that's the most important thing is about laying a firm foundation for life and that Alliance oh much with my belief about education especially Christian education where the primary purpose of a Christian education is to prepare our students for Life way we do that is by discipling them by going alongside them and say this is this is your father's world and it's incredible and if so many things to learn and let me tell you she she has a awesome plan for you and it very different than a lot of the messages you going to get from our culture but this is real this is what it means to be a Christian this is why Jesus is worth it. This is why Jesus is the key and we want the follow him so to be able to build that for a kid collectively that that's the call that's the mission that's what I'm really excited about the site visit I had chair was and I fell in love with this community being here I've never had an experience where I visited a community for a day and I fell in love with it and you can just feel first despite the presence of God that was so strong here from meeting your your kids you know there are so many things that stuck out as a beautiful moment one of them was one of the French classes and seeing a cure for kindergarteners sing in French and in having some murjan I'm just like blown away I'm like oh my goodness they can do this this is incredible it was another scene in Foundation Hall where there was a little bit of rehearsal so I can play that you all got to see during Christmas and so that the kids were nice enough to kind of do do do a rough run through and when I'm sitting there you know I'm just capturing his vision of like what this place does of equipping these I'm feeling so emotional about it and and towards the end it was so fun we got to kind of go near stage buys and so are we having these kids back those who already got another high five moving back over and over again and just laughing and I was like oh my goodness I'm like I love these kids I love these Community if you are incredibly faculty members who they are such a passion for Christ there such a passion gifting for teaching and I just realize like these these are the people I want to spend my time with these are the people that I want a Coke create these are the teammates I want to show up for and for you all meeting some of you as parents sharing your heart for your kids there was just such a resonance in like Jolly this is this is it this is where I want to spend my find there's there's no greater calling than this and and so I just want to thank you all for this incredible opportunity and I look forward to getting to know you all at 4 for you all to meet my wife Claire she's been my pride of you has to put up with me for 12 years and it was three beautiful kids Halle Allura Reese ages 86 and to a little quick story about you know just girls and I'm so blessed girl dad I remember even as a freshman in college you know how is one I'm a single I'm only child so I always wanted a larger family and I remember that God and I really hope to have at least one daughter in the Lord blessed me with and sell it to be able to really walk alongside of you as as we parent and societal these kids I think is this the largest auger in my life so thank you God bless you looking forward to getting to know you also
