hello Veritas student-faculty parents and teachers welcome to the 2019 to 2020 annual Wards Chapel we are all very excited to have you here today to celebrate Vera. Students using accomplishments even though we meet under challenging circumstances we will do our best to look on the bright side and see all of the hard work that each and every Veritas student has put forth as it says in Proverbs 3:5 trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding even after being at school for almost nine years now it is impossible to some of veritas in just a few words I still remember my first day as if it were yesterday I walked did the doors and realized that this was without any doubt in my mind the place for me everyone here cared for me and love me even though I was new Veritas is an extraordinary school it is a family Veritas keys didn't the opportunity to Excel and learning their work ethic and most importantly the relationship with God Veritas also offers students the option to do extracurricular activities including volleyball football ball track in tennis and experience the cultural Expeditions program where we get to learn about history by traveling to different historical sites today we celebrate significant accomplishments that everyone at this great School has that we're thankful to God for having the ability to use our skills for his glory every aspect of veritas points to God Veritas is like a compass guiding us on the road of life and bring us back to God when we the teachers are always there for us when we are confused or going through a difficult time we can always count on them to support us and furthering our relationship with God and each other whether that be Miss Eliza teaching of them by Busco trash talking about the Bible before PE mrs. arrazolo praying with us before quiz misses almost giving us encouraging Bible verses mrs. Delgado helping us with sea or Mister Chase doing devotional thousand helmet room I cannot thank them enough for The Godly character that they've instilled in my life and the lives of every student who goes here I'm thankful for mr. School the coaches and all of the faculty that showed tremendous leadership to every veritas thank you for working hard every day to make Veritas the best it can be also I would like to thank the parents for all the work that they put into helping their children receive the best education they possibly can thank you to all the parents in different committees behind the scenes like the prayer committee the school board and many others would not be where we are today if it were not for the parents of veritas I would also like to thank the students actions affect Veritas everyday in either good or bad way thank you for doing your best to make Veritas the incredible loving atmosphere it is every day for helping make every class fun even in goo and congratulations on completing this Veritas school year each of your efforts helped make us into the young men and women God want us to be as we move into the next chapter in each of Our Lives whether that be lower school middle school or even high school we should reflect on our accomplishments throughout this year and have gratitude for the way the Veritas Compass has changed all of us for the better but most of all we need to as it says in Proverbs 3:5 remember to trust God because wherever we go and whatever we do God has the perfect plan for all of us that will make us into better people for His Glory thank you
