Athletics at Veritas

The Athletic Department of Veritas Christian Academy utilizes competition and physical training to teach student-athletes the disciplines needed to build Christian character while honoring God through their efforts on and off the field of play. Veritas is committed to instilling excellence in education, teamwork, and leadership in our athletes.

Our middle school athletes compete against area schools in the West Houston Christian Athletic Conference (WCHAC). Middle school boys (grades 5-8) can participate in flag football, basketball, track, and tennis. Middle school girls (grades 5-8) can participate in volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis.

As part of our commitment to building character through athletics, we maintain a chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in middle school. The FCA huddle meets once a month for worship and Bible study. It is led by athlete students with coaches in the background.

For more details about our program, download a copy of the Athletics Handbook, or email our Athletics Director, Roosevelt Parker, at [email protected].
