Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

One of the most honorable events that Veritas middle school students can participate in and/or observe during their annual trip to Washington DC is the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.  This once in a lifetime opportunity is reserved for four students who are chosen through an in-house essay competition that involves various middle school faculty and other administrators of Veritas.

This year's Washington DC Trip combined both sixth and seventh grades and the Wreath Laying Ceremony included two students from each class.  This year's participants included seventh grade students Luke and Ellie, and sixth grade students Mikayla and Nicole.
