Middle School Teacher (applicant pool)

Veritas Christian Academy is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Middle School Teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year. All subject area experts are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience, extensive knowledge in the subject area, support the school’s Statement of Faith and have a passion for teaching Middle School students.

• Prepares weekly lesson plans
• Individualize instruction to help each student achieve
• Collect and review work samples
• Grade work, as necessary and appropriate
• Assist with integrating courses across the MS curriculum
• Serve as a grade-level advisor in the MS House Advisory Program
• Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students and families

Responsibilities Qualifications

• Minimum BA in Education or a related field
• 3 years teaching experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Passion for working with middle school students
