Fall Campaign

The annual fund campaign each fall provides resources for Veritas to invest in the school, as tuition covers only our operating expenses. The campaign provides funding for investments in additional curriculum, technology and facilities and also provides scholarships. Veritas has been blessed to achieve our financial goals for each of our annual campaigns. In a difficult economic environment, our most recent campaign reached $100,978, exceeding our $100,000 goal.

Funds from last year’s campaign were used to:

• Remodel the elementary wing and add three middle school classrooms
• Purchase new educational software for the mobile lab laptops
• Invest in a new math curriculum and upgrade the Accelerated Math program
• Resurface the gym floor and purchase new athletic banners and basketball jerseys
• Purchase a new Veritas entrance sign and resurface parking lots

Spring Auction

The spring auction, organized through PTF, raises approximately $20,000 annually. The funds are used to purchase items not covered by tuition that can enhance student learning and improve the school campus. Veritas welcomes contributions from businesses and individuals. Auction items range from gift certificates for services or products and gift baskets to autographed items and weekend getaways. Auction contributions are tax deductible as the law allows.

Matching Gifts

Veritas qualifies for most corporate matching gift programs. United Way donations may also be directed to Veritas. Employees should check with their human resource manager for specifics on qualifications and procedures.

In-Kind Donations

In addition to auction contributions, Veritas is grateful for in-kind donations for a variety of goods and services, including:

• Technology products, including computers, software and interactive whiteboards
• Office products, including white and colored paper, pens and pencils, permanent and dry erase markers, folders
• Classroom/office furniture
• Etc…
