Amy Leonard - Former Lower School Principal 

 

Amy Leonard has been a part of the Veritas community since its inception in 2003.  She has filled many roles and taught in various departments.  Before her retirement, she served as our Lower School Principal.

 

What do you love about Veritas?

Veritas is a community of believers that pray for one another and hold each other accountable in their daily Christian walk.

 

Why do you like teaching at Veritas? 

I love being able to minister, encourage, and disciple little children all day long. It is a joy to be able to teach children the academics and show them how God is a part of everything they do.

 

How do you prepare students for lives of service and learning? 

Biblical teaching throughout the day as well as trying to put enjoyment in lessons.

 

What is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to help shape Veritas students? 

Not sure other than 34 years of teaching experience :)

 

What sets a Veritas student apart from others? 

A Veritas child has been challenged academically as well as been instructed in making right, wise decisions as they serve others.
