Accreditation
The American Heritage Dictionary defines accreditation as “…the granting of approval to an institution of learning by an official review board after the school has met specific requirements.” Veritas has earned accreditation through two different associations:
- The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
- The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
Veritas Christian Academy received the highest possible level of accreditation with both organizations.
Because the process of accreditation is thorough and demanding, it results in valuable recognition of the school’s educational program. During the initial accreditation, and through regular re-accreditations, the school is studied, analyzed and compared to established standards with regard to its mission, commitment to quality education and willingness to be accountable.
All faculty and staff hold degrees and appropriate certifications. We maintain strict financial accountability and the education program is under constant review to ensure it remains responsive to student needs.
